The apps can be used without signing up but you will not be able to create or join challenges. If you decide to create an account, you will be asked to enter your firstname, your lastname, an optional nickname, an email address and a password. Email addresses are used for logging in and password resets. They can also be used to inform you of news about Matchguess.
For the sole and exclusive purpose of sharing your predictions and rankings as images, you will be asked to give the apps access to your photos.
If you enable notifications, we must store a token to send them. We use push notifications to remind you to predict a match outcome if you don't have yet.
We store information about your predictions and challenges to sync these data between our platform and your devices.
We use session tokens in the apps to keep you logged in.
Like most websites and apps, we also store data through the use of software that may be transparent to users. For example, we may log your IP address and general information about your browser or device.
Matchguess apps collect analytics through third-parties (server-side Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics for Apps) to improve the apps, prioritize future development efforts and track external ads conversion. Crash reports can also be received.
The website collects analytics through Google Analytics to examine the website usage. Facebook Like and Twitter Tweet buttons allow interaction with these social networks. All of them use cookies.
